In the European History section there is information compiled from three courses. The information is intermingled because the courses cover European History to differing extent and they make sense intermingled.
History of Germany Since 1848: Course Description: Analysis and interpretation of the institutional, social, economic, political and cultural development of the Germany to the present.
Ancient Greek Civilization: Course Description: History of Greece and Hellenic civilization from the end of prehistoric times until the Roman conquest.
Rise of the Modern Irish Nation: Course Description: Focusing on the last century of Irish history, covering the main social, political, economic and intellectual changes defining Ireland from the cultural revival, through the Easter Rising and War of Independence, to the Treaty and Civil War. Consideration is given to the constitutional development of two Irelands: a twenty-six county republic and a six-county statelet in the North.
