In the Philosophy section there is information compiled from two courses. The information is intermingled because the courses cover Philosophy to differing extent and they make sense intermingled.

Critical Thinking and Reasoning: Course Description: Introduction to the analysis and evaluation of actual arguments, to the practice of constructing logically sound arguments, and to logic as the theory of argument. Emphasizes arguments of current or general interest.

Symbolic Logic: Course Description: Principles of correct reasoning, using modern symbolic techniques of propositional calculus and simple quantification.
