In the Comparative Politics section there is information compiled from two courses. The information is intermingled because the courses cover Comparative Politics to differing extent and they make sense intermingled.
Comparative Government and Politics: Course Description: Major conceptual, methodological, and theoretical tools in comparative politics. Distinguishes between developed and developing systems, and examines contemporary issues of the developed systems and problems of underdevelopment.
Northern Ireland Politics: Course Description: This course traces the 30 year conflict of the troubles in Northern Ireland from a political and cultural perspective, and investigates it origins. It also outlines the process of political dialogue and democratic device used to establish peace, analyses the prospects for the continuation of the latter, and assesses what lessons may be drawn from the Northern Ireland case in relation to other conflict resolution processes.
