In the Foreign Policy section there is information compiled from three courses. The information is intermingled because the courses cover Foreign Policy to differing extent and they make sense intermingled.
World Politics: Course Description: General introductory course to the field of foreign policy and international politics. Mainly theoretical in nature but such concepts as revolution, economic and political development, and nationalism also considered.
The European Union: Course Description: Examines the evolution of economic and political integration and the potential future steps toward ever closer union. Institutions, actors, and policies of the European Union analyzed with an emphasis on democracy and tensions between domestic and European interests.
Global Futures: Course Description: Focused on futures studies with a background in international relations and globalization studies. This exploration of global futures takes place in three parts. The first part focuses on futures studies, futures perspectives, futures methodologies, and develops a theoretical framework for assessing global futures. The second part explores trends and relationships that are shaping global futures. Finally, in the last part these trends are used to assess likely futures for countries and regions.
